Ok, Ok, so I am the worst blogger!!!!!!

I know, I know! I am not doing a very good job in updating this blog.... Things have been very busy and a little bit crazy around here! We moved out of the house we were staying in and have been living in an extended stay hotel until we can find something else. Trust me, one small hotel room plus Caden equals INSANE!! haha We have tried to make the best of the situation by going to the park often and walking around Hollywood Blvd. We went last weekend to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua at the El Capitan on Hollywood Blvd and had a blast. Caden now wants 2 chihuahua's!!

Now to the exciting news...... On Tuesday, we went for Cadens wardrobe fitting. There are going to be 10 kids total in this commercial, so needless to say, it was a little bit chaotic!! So the parents are sitting out in a hallway with the kids while the directors are trying to decide what look for what kid. Anyways, the director comes out and starts talking to Caden. They are chatting for a while about important things like ninja moves, and I hear Caden say "My mommy doesn't have any money, so I am going to work and make her some money so she can but me things." Just so you know, I wanted to die!!!! Here lately Caden has wanted me to but everything that he sees. So I got into the habit of saying "Caden, mommy doesnt have any money for that." So rest assured kids will tell all that they know!!!!! So after all that, the directors just loved him!!!

So yesterday we go to the filming of his AFLAC commercial. There was a lot of waiting at first, but then we got all the kids dressed and ready to get rolling. It was amazing!! The scene is set in an elementary school, so they rented a section of this school to film this commercial. It took about 10 semi trucks and about 60 plus people and 6 hrs of filiming to do this commercial. It was crazy!!! So all the parents are outside watching the monitors behind the producers and they are placing the kids in a semi circle. I noticed they placed Caden by this stick, which I later found out represented where the duck will be!!! So Caden is sitting right beside the duck. The camera spans all the kids then settles on Caden and the duck!!! It is so cool and amazing!!!! I cant wait to see my little star on TV!!! We are coming home soon for the holidays, and cant wait to see everyone again!! We miss you and love you all so much!!!!

They wouldnt let us take any in the class room, so we will just have to wait til it airs. He did it!!!!!!!

Well, as most of you know, Caden did it!!!! He booked the AFLAC commercial!!!!! The shoot dates are Oct 8-10. He will have his own little trailer and everything! I will have my camera with me and will take tons of pictures!! It is still a little surreal but so exciting!!! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will be moving into our own place. We just need a little bit more space, and not so much drama! haha

Mom and Mary McRight came to visit us this weekend and we had a great time! I was able to show them some of the hotspots in Hollywood! We went to the Kodak Theater and to the Grauman's Chinese Theater. There was also a little Italian festival that was going on this weekend that we went to. It was called the San Gennaro Festival. There were a lot of games and rides and booths filled with Italian food! Caden got a little turtle, who he named Leo. Hopefully he will survive the week!!! :)

We love you all and are thankful for all the love and support that you have given us. Sometimes its hard to believe that we are living out in LA, but we are loving it!!! Here are some more pictures of Caden hanging out in Hollywood and at the LA zoo!!!! Enjoy!!!

Call back!!

Well, Caden had his very first audition last week and we got the call today that they want him to come back for the final audition!!!!!! We are so excited! It is a nationwide commercial for AFLAC. We are stoked! So tomorrow at 3 our time, 5 yours, he will be auditioning for the part. The audition is in Santa Monica, which is a very beautiful area! I will be sure and let you know as soon as we know anything!

Nanna and Granny Mary are coming to visit us this weekend and we are excited about that too! Also, this weekend we will be going to the San Gennero festival on Hollywood Blvd. It is an Italian festival that sounds amazing, so we will all be going to that as well. I also worked my first temp job today at a private school in LA!! It was a little surreal. It looked more like a college than an elementary school!! It was very beautiful! There I met my first celebrity! haha I met Jamie Lee Curtis and she was very nice! So it was a very fun day! The kids were very nice and so cute!!

Hello to all!!

Well, it has been over a week since I last wrote. Things are going pretty good here. Caden and I really enjoyed visiting with Nanna and Poppa and Uncle J last week. It was a much needed time to reduce the home sickness!!! I have some pictures that I will be adding at the end of this message of the time that we spent with them. As for the little man's acting, we still havent booked anything yet, but there is a strong possibility that he will be doing a GAP photo shoot next week and I submitted him for a Big Lots commercial that shoots in 2 weeks. There are also several other submissions that have been made, so hopefully things are starting to happen!!!! It is exciting, and frustrating sometimes too, but it is definitely worth it!!

I have applied to work at a temp agency. It is basically a place that will provide temporary employment for people that are looking for short term work. I am just needing something until my little star takes off!! My interview with the temp agency is on Monday at 9 am. Hopefully things will work out. As for the time being, we are enjoying exploring all the cool and interesting sites in LA. We have gone to the park several times and over to the beach too! There are also a lot of museums and the zoo that we plan on checking out next week. This has definitely been an adventure of a lifetime! We are so blessed to be out here! We miss you all very much, but feel this is where we are supposed to be at this time in our lives! Caden is loving it and keeps talking about which toy he is going to buy when he makes some money!! haha He can't wait to be on camera. I think it will be surreal for him to see himself on tv.

UT Game and other fun stuff!!!

Well, we were able to go to the UT game this weekend. We had a blast, but we were very disappointed in the outcome! UT should have won the game, but it was an amazing game to be at. We had some great seats, only like 10 rows from the field, and right in front of the ESPN guys! Apparently we were on TV and that is pretty cool!! Mom, dad and Jared actually drove my car out here to me over the weekend. Now that is almost 2000 miles that they drove in the course of 2 days. Now that is true love!!!!!!

We moved into our new place and found an awesome roommate. Some people having been wanting our address, so here it is: 1243 1/2 N Poinsettia Dr. Los Angeles, CA 90046. Feel free to send Caden a card! He would love it!!!! He misses everyone from home, but he is having fun out here. He really enjoyed getting to see his nanna and poppa and uncle Jay!!!

So, his agent has pitched him for a nationwide commercial, so we should know something this week! We are still having fun and enjoying the weather. It is a very beautiful place to be, but we miss TN too!! Keep us in your prayers this week! Uncle Jay and nanna took a lot of pictures this weekend, so I will post some when they send them to me! Well just a few things to update. First and foremost, we have found a place to live!!!!! YEA!!!!! I met a wonderful girl who offered to let us stay with her short term until we find something else, but then it turns out that the person who was going to rent her room starting Sept. 1, never called back. So we have been blessed with a nice safe place to stay in the heart of Hollywood. We are literally 2 blocks from Sunset and 1 block from Santa Monica. A little history about the building that we are staying in is that it used to be Charlie Chaplin's maids quarters! I thought that was really neat! Next, mom dad and Jared are going to be driving, yes I said driving my car to me this weekend. They are leaving on Friday after work and will probably arrive sometime on Sunday. It is a 29 hr drive, so keep them in your prayers!!! As for me and Caden we are so EXCITED to see them. While being out here has been unbelievable and wonderful, we have missed our family and friends a lot. So they will definitely be a sight for sore eyes!! While they are here, TN just happens to be playing UCLA in the opening season game! So look for us, because we will be there!! GO BIG ORANGE!! Other that that, things are kinda slow. We went and talked to his agent today and basically things are just slow right now with the holiday on Monday. But we are hoping that things will be back in full swing next week!!

Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to update you on how everything is going!!! Right now we are still in the process of finding a place to stay. I really didnt think that it would be this hard, but obviously I was wrong. I have met serveral really nice people out here, and in the same instance some very mean and rude people!! I did find an amazing church to attend this morning!!! There was an awesome time of praise and worship with a full band. It was so refreshing!!! It was nice to look around and know that you are not the only christian in LA! ha Thank you all so much for all the prayers. I had a really trying week this week, and I really felt the prayers!!! You all have no idea how much we love you!! One of the hardest parts of being out here is the homesickness!! We miss you guys tons!!! Here are some new pictures (Cindy!!!)!! I will be putting more and more up as the time goes! We will hopefully be going out on some auditions this week, so remember us in your prayers!!! We love you and miss you all!!!!!
